Selvedge Denim Made in Germany

In cooperation with the Blaumann Gbr (www.blaumann-jeanshosen.de) we have reactivated old shuttle looms to weave classical denim in Germany in a traditional way. These shuttle looms were in use until 1950. Due to the lack of productivity, these were abolished. The fabric width is machine-related only at about 77cm. Today denim fabrics have a usual width of 150 to 200 cm.

The weaving machines GA615 were manufactured by the company China Textile Machinery LTD from Shanghai. It will be woven in an hour about 3 to 4 meters. We weave a classic denim as a 3/1 Z twill made of 100% cotton.
